I was originally going to get a Mac Mini but am more interested in an iMac to replace my Windows tower system at home.

I understand that the current iMac has been out since mid-2011. Does anyone know if a refresh of the iMac is due soon as i'll hold off until the new model comes out.

No one knows for sure. This sort of thing has been talked about for at least 4-6 months.

Choose a number game this. Most popular guesses is mid 2013.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Do we all believe that Apple are not that interested in computers now? It seems that most of their revenue comes from the iPhone.

Yeah, they're probably tired of making so much money.

16GB iPhone 5, 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad 1st Gen.

Reminder: Please include your Mac's specs. This will make it much easier for the other members to assist you.

There's a slight chance a new iMac could launch at next week's iPad mini event, however it will be most likely in early 2013. Either way, it will be worth waiting for!
