I have a 2008 3.2ghz octo with no airport. i would like to install an airport card in my machine, are any of these compatible? Are they all the same?

You say you have a Mac Pro yet all links listed are for MacBook Pros, and your avatar tells us you have an iMac. Confusing.

If you have a Mac Pro look for this:-

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Well give this a go but it does happen second hand cards sometimes fail:-

Pretty tricky job installing the cards but there are how-to on the 'net.

To double check ask the question of the seller prior to purchase,
