Hi guys, i've got an old beige G3 desktop that i'm looking to offload. I was thinking of selling it but since it's old and not a particularly noteworthy model, i'm wondering if it's even worth my time to prep it and put it up for sale. This would include digging out system discs from somewhere and wiping the drive.

Is there much of a market for this type of machine? Or should i just leave in out in the street with a free-to-good-home sign on it?

Machine specifics:
Project Name : Gossamer
Model Identifier : 510
PowerMac G3 desktop 266MHz (introduced nov. 1997)

It's worth about $25 to anyone who follows old Mac prices.

Yes try to give it to a Machead. I was digging them out of dumpsters 10 years ago. Dont nuke the drive..just remove your personal stuff...finding apps now is not easy. It can still be used as a word processor or run a south american country.
