Have any of you used this patch to enable extended desktop capabilities on your Imac G5? I want some feedback from you if you have. I'm thinking about using it, but would like to know of others who are using it. Thanks!

What steps are involved to install this patch? Will it automatically patch, or how does this work? Thanks for your responses too!

The patch works automatically to install the required 'software' but you have to go into Open Firmware to change some stuff. There is, however, some debate as to whether or not that voids your warranty.

Its easy to do and the instructions on the site are simple to follow, it can be reversed just as easily if you have any probs (my iBook wouldnt boot once so i just flashed PRAM and it was all good again).

It's nothing the average user should be too scared of
