hi,

i heard that apple makes a 27 inch imac i7. Does it exist? If yes, what the price ($)?

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

i dont see it on the apple site but Mac Benchmarks - Geekbench Browser (the ten th one, starting from the top) shows it. I dont get it!

Go to Apple.com:

- then click on the "Store" tab
- then click on the iMac icon
- then click on the "Select an iMac" button
- then click on the "select" button for the top end iMac model
- then on the configuration page you select/upgrade to the i7 cpu

- Nick

You're welcome. Yeah...I guess the i7 27" iMac was a bit harder to find than I first thought...since it only shows up as an upgrade "build to order" option.

If you go to the Apple refurbished page...i7 27" iMac's are well represented:
