    Mac RAM combinations
I just upgraded my mac with two 4gig ram modules replacing the two 2gig ram mobules. The question is can I installed the two modules I removed to make it 12gig ram total? Or do all my modules need to be 4gig for this to work?

    Please let me know

Totally impossible to tell you...since we have absolutely no idea what model Macintosh you have.

Yes, you can install the 2 x 2 GB modules in the two remaining empty slots to give you a total of 12 GB.
