iMac 21.5" desktop. Is there a document scanning program hiding in amongst all the apps available on this beautiful computer? Can't seem to find one so guess it has some fancy iName??

Did your scanner/AIO printer not come with appropriate software? This will give you full access to all of the scanners features.

However, OSX does come with Image Capture which lets you scan from any appropriately installed scanning devices.

External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup
