Here's the problem... THIS THING IS HOT!!!!! Has anyone come up with any cooling solution? Not controlling the fans but hardware?? Thanks |

When you say hot, we need to know temperatures and fan speeds. Download the free iStat Pro Widget and give us some readings. Here's the LINK.
Just for information sake..... your new iMac has three fans: 1. CPU 2. Hard Drive 3. Optical Drive Right now for example, my 2011 iMac is showing 39 degrees C with a fan speed of 1200 RPM for the CPU. |
