My iSight camera is not working on my iMac. I have tried all of the recommended solutions via the Apple Forums:
When I activate an application, the camera light goes on. But nothing seems to be working. I am wondering if it is a clash between apps such as FaceTime & Skype. Here is my system config: Screen Shot 2012-05-03 at 11.27.52 AM.png I am open to any and all suggestions - any advice will be greatly appreciated.

How old is it, still under AppleCare?
Having Skype or any other application that uses the camera should cause issues. Has it always had problems or is this a new issue? |

Sadly I am no longer under Apple Care... I was wondering if I should try and uninstall FaceTime. Is that even possible? |
