Hey gang. My Mac osx here has recently switched it up on me. Desktop wallpaper is correct, but its not showing the files that used to be there. Finder is strictly frozen, spinning wheel style. Garage Band and Safari are openable and work ok. Any ideas? Kind of freaked about losing some files honestly.
Oh- and before this all started I had tried to boot up the cpu holding apple + s. Apparently this is how you reset the admin password, along with some code that a read in a post. Whew. Anyways-- thanks for your help!!
