Hi I need an airport for my Mac Pro for wi-fi... I saw one advertised on Amazon - I asked if it was suitable for a Mac Pro - and the seller replied saying he had a few - but needed my serial number to identify which would be right.
Is it ok to give this info out - or could it be a problem? Thanks |

Giving him the serial number of your MacPro will allow him to properly identify the model number. That's so he can match the Airport card to that model to see if it will work. So yes, it's OK to give him the SN.
