hello,

My dad owns a Macbook pro and and I own an iMac. This morning before I went to school I was on my dad's Macbook, and it started making this really weird noise. It was like kind of high pitched whining that goes like "wheee" but like a robot. It sounds kind of stupid but I don't even know how to describe this in a good way because it was just so weird. It just goes on for like 5 seconds, and I'm not so sure where it came from(whether it's from inside the computer or the speaker. but it was loud).
I came back from school and turned on my computer and it made the same noise like the Macbook did this morning.
Did anyone else experience this or know where it's from or what is is??
QUOTE Thanks
