I had a Apple 21" cinema display, it died the other day. I was editing video was rendering a file came back later and monitor was black no power no nothing. I need to get a new monitor.
My G4 has the ADC and VGA connections. I notice that most of the newer monitors (im interested in 20" and above wide screen) have the DVI or DVI-D connections. Is there an adapter you can get that allows you to hook a DVI or DVI-D to the ADC. And how do I know if a monitor will work with the G4? I don't want to buy something and get it home and have it not work with my machine. I primarily do video editing with Final Cut. Oh and my video card is a nvidia geforce 4 MX 64MB thank you for your help. |
