Vertical lines problem

I have the issue displayed in the following video with my imac (20 inch 2,4ghz core 2 duo -2007).

Is there any way i can fix it? (for example cleaning the lcd panel glass )

An issue with the glass or dust would not show up like this, this is more of an issue with the LCD itself. You can past the warranty now, so the first thing you should do if you haven't already is contact Apple about it and then take it to an Apple store for them to see and see what they can do for you..

The only fix is most likely going to be to replace the LCD and a quick eBay search yields some possibilities, but you've got to be able to take the iMac apart to do it..

My 20 inch does the same thing i just ignore it and try not to notice it until i can get the money to replace it myself.
