Hey guys I just purchase 27 inch Imac 3.1GHz and add 8 GB SDRAM for $200 more but
didn't go for i7 cause I did some research and is not much different then i5. Anyone think i should have gotten the i7? thanks for feedback.

Unless you are a power user you probably won't even notice the difference between the two. For most people there is no need to buy the fastest computer available. If it makes you feel better, saving the $200 was probably the best decision you made. Now you can get yourself a $200 gift to reward yourself for the smart decision.
