I'm thinking about getting the blue one from craigslist. However, the guy want's $100 (he'll take $85 now) for a 13 year old computer. How much do you guys think it's worth?

It has the keyboard and mouse also. I'm thinking about getting it for my grandma so she can play Sudoku with out buying anymore Sudoku books.

The user claims that it's a piece of Apple history, which I'm not doubting him, but I don't think I'd even spend $100 on the first Macintosh.

This also has OS 9.2 and I don't plan to upgrade it to OS X.

Its not worth $100, but is a design classic

I would pay 30-40 dollars tops, since despite they Bondi Blue ones being classics, there are still loads of them going up for sale on sites like craiglist and ebay

Even worse $20.00 tops. Let the seller keep his history and look elsewhere. For $100 look for a faster G4 iMac.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Here in the United States...I wouldn't pay more than $20-25 (some folks might go a bit higher). But $100 or even $85...I would consider way out of line.

Just offered him $25 haha. We'll see how this goes.

If I get this I'm going to for sure get The Oregon Trail...brings back childhood school memories.

$20 tops for that one. Maybe $30 if by "Blue" he means a later slot loading Blueberry or Indigo.
