Hey everybody,
I'm taking my first venture into mac world and would like some input. So hopefully my questions are not too stupid. Anyway I bought a cheap used G3 Blue and White Power Mac which I fully intend on upgrading after a little while of playing on this one. I've been using a G4 imac borrowed from a friend with protools for recording my band, but am looking to get my own set up and want to learn about these and will be able to spend some time if I have one at home. Anyway, I have a couple of questions. First what kind of monitor do I need to connect to this? I'm not looking fancy just cheap for now. Will a PC monitor work with this. If I need a mac monitor does it need to be specifically for a power mac? Second, the keyboard. What kind of keyboard do I need? Again will a pc keyboard work? I've had people tell me you can use a regular pc mouse with a mac. Is there anything special I need to do to connect them? Again sorry if these are stupid questions, but I'm new to this. I've got a pretty decent amount of PC experience, but it seems just playing with the imac that it's the little things that are different that get me. Thanks in advance.
QUOTE Thanks

Any VGA monitor should work. And any USB keyboard should be fine.
