I have an idea to mount a 20" Intel iMac LCD from a 20" white 2.0 on a 17" iMac 2.0 machine, I want to know if I can connect the inverter board from the 17" display to the 20" one. Anyone done this?
QUOTE Thanks

Probably not. The inverters are specifically paired to the panel - this is because the CCFL tube that provides the backlight varies depending on the length of the panel and will require different voltage depending on that length. So, while I can quote you specific requirements, as a general rule, you must pair the inverter with the panel it's designed to power.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
