Just waiting on my new 27' Imac to arrive. Never had a mac before and so excited. Just wanted to make sure this is the proper ram to order

That's the correct memory, however, I'm not crazy about Corsair memory. I use OWC memory as they are Mac specialists and warrant their memory for life. They also have an 800 number from which you can speak with a live person.

I use Crucial memory to upgrade my 27" iMac from 4 to 12GB and it's been working great..so I'd go with them or OWC, who I used on my old Mac Mini..
