Hello guys,

I'm setting up my own business, and I have to buy a workstation for:

1. Auto Cad (for design in 2D and 3D). Accordig to the Auto Cad site, I'll require:

Intel Pentium 4 processor or AMD Athlon, 3 GHz or greater; or Intel or AMD dual-core processor, 2 GHz or greater
2 GB RAM or more
2 GB hard disk space available in addition to free space required for installation
1,280 x 1,024 true color video display adapter 128 MB or greater, Pixel Shader 3.0 or greater, Microsoft® Direct3D®-capable workstation-class graphics card

2. And a software for administration: for invoices and other documents.

Does anyone have any experience using a Mac Pro for this application?

I don't want to come back to Windows...

Thank you.

Mr. Daniel

Have not used it but here is some reports using via Bootcamp on a Mac Pro:-

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Thank you, Harry, for your message.

It looks like Autocad 2011 works perfectly on a Mac... I'll ask for help to an Autocad distributor.
