I have a newer iMac running 10.6, and occasionally the sound will just quit. I finally found out that when it does that, if I plug in speakers, it works again. Then the same thing happens in reverse, the speakers' sound quits, I unplug them and it works. Anyone ever had this happen to them? I can't think of anything that would be causing it.
QUOTE Thanks
