Hi everyone. I did a search but didn't find anything.

I have a rev A 1.8ghz G5 imac and as the airport extreme and bluetooth were only options when I bought mine, I want to upgrade.

I have already purchased the airport extreme card, but I want bluetooth too.

I can't seem to be able to find what I need to get the built in bluetooth working! Only a belkin usb bluetooth dondle thing.
Have apple discontinued selling the built in bluetooth upgrades?

I'm in the UK, so if you know where I can get one, let me know.

Thanks,
Pete

If you're willing to try it, you can add bluetooth internally using an external dongle (placed inside the machine). You're going to have to wire it up to the MB yourself though.

ah. thanks for the info. My macs still under waranty, and I'm not too hot with the old soldering either, so I'll just leave it to the dongle.

Anybody had problems with them?
