I'm getting an iMac G4 in a few days, with no keyboard or mouse, so I'm getting third party ones from a store. I heard to eject the optical drive, you need an eject button on the Apple keyboard, which I don't have. Same problem with volume. Is there any where to eject it without the button? Thanks!

Not like you can with a genuine Apple keyboard. But you do always have a volume control "slider" (adjust with the mouse) in the menu bar on the display...which makes adjusting the volume easy.

I'm using 3rd party keyboard(cheap USB keyboard) with my Mac Pro

Expose' is difference (F9,F10 and F11) compare to current genuine apple keyboard (F3).

You can E-ject optical drive by holding down F12.

Volume control works on mine

Mute = F3
Volume down = F4
Volume up = F5

Command key is windows button but you can use "modifier keys" to switch "Alt" and "Windows". So command key is next to space bar like genuine apple keyboard.

(this's not my picture I searched from google)

One more thing, where would I go about getting a power cable for this Mac? It does not come with anything, just the Mac itself. Would my laptop charger work? The cable that connects to the brick has one of those clover-type connectors, but it does not have the square plastic bit on it that I see on the iMac G4 cables.
