I am wondering how much you think the price for a Mac Pro will change when the new one comes out sometime soon.

I am looking at this Mac Pro.

I want to get it but should I wait for the price to drop when the new one comes out, will the price drop very much?

There really is no reliable way to determine how much $$$ Apple will reduce the price of older Mac Pro models. If I was forced to guess...I would say no more than $200-$400. But it depends on the specs of the new Mac Pros (when they're released).

But more importantly...you can get the exact same Mac Pro (refurbished) from the Apple Store (right now) for $2119:

Refurbished Mac Pro 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon - Apple Store (U.S.)

...remembering that Apple refurbished products are just like new computers...and come with the same warranty.

I know. I am buying it from amazon because they are new with no tax. The price changed for them everyday, yesterday on amazon it was less that $2200 NEW. And thats with no tax and I will also get applecare with that. When the price for the Mac Pro lowers again I am jumping on that.
