I somehow managed to stain my iMac with "water-spots" (yes, it sounds dirty, but it really is from cleaner for eye-glasses... I think)

I'm talking about the grey part at the bottom, not the screen... suggestions?

The bottom panel is brushed aluminum along with the back panel and sides. You can try some mild aluminum cleaner, however, I would experiment first by applying a small amount on the back panel where it's not noticeable.

In the past I have even used automobile car wax to remove spots on brushed aluminum but have never tried it on my iMac. Again, experiment in an area where it's not noticeable. And be especially careful not to accidentally get cleaner on the glass.
