I know there is a MS version of Office for Mac, and I know a lot can be done with pages. I had a need today to create place setting tags for a caterer friend. Needed to customize a label size. Finally just did a table and formatted the rows, columns and cells to fit my need. But figure there is an easier way and a better program.

Thanks.

The closest program (inexpensive) that I have found for the Mac which resembles MS Publisher is iStudio Publisher. It's currently on sale at the Apple App store for $17.99. An excellent bargain at that price.

I also have Pages and MS Office but I now use iStudio Publisher to do all our layout work and things such as bulletins and flyers. Very easy to learn and use.
