How much electricity am I wasting leaving myiMac in Sleep mode over night and when I am at work - is it a few pounds or a few pence?

Mac Specs: Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.

not sure how english money works.. assuming pounds is more on the line of dollars and pence is more on the line of cents.. then you are wasting less the fractions of pence.. this is because only the ram is powered... even when using a powerbook if you put it to sleep, and leave it on sleep all night, the battery meter reads the same percentage as it did when you put it to sleep.. waste almost no power.

it uses such a small amount of electricity, that theres nothing to worry about. for all the macs ive ever owned, the only time i actually shut them down is a) during a bad storm or b) if i go out of town

One more question, when it's in sleep, HDD should also be shut down, so I can move it anywhere I want, correct?
