I'm planning on getting an iMac soon. It will be my main computer for all my needs. (except mobile) However, gaming capability is going to be at the top of my list of wants. I was originally just going to buy a new low end 21.5 inch (admittedly because I like things shiny and new and right out of the box), but I've learned / realized/ been told that I can get a refurb iMac with better specs for a better price.*

With a budget of around $1,300-1,400, what would be the best refurb iMac option for me considering that gaming capability is high on my list of priorities?

I'd appreciate any comments and advice. (*as long as they don't include "get a pc" please.) Thanks.*

For that price range you have two choices right now on the Apple refurb store..

Refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor - Apple Store (U.S.)
Refurbished iMac 27-inch 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor - Apple Store (U.S.)

They are both the 3.2Ghz i3 processor, 4GB of memory, same video and other specs but the first is the 21.5" screen while the second is the 27" screen..

Not being a gamer, I'm not sure how well the ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB that comes with these iMac's will do..perhaps others will chime in on that front..
