can some one tell me why ....

i am in my itunes music files...as itunes would NOT import ALL THE MUSIC when i transferred my old stuff on to the new machine

but when i start at album A the mouse suddenly speedily ends up at Z and i have to scroll through up for ages to get back to A ??? its frustrating...batteries are 100% soooo....any clues...

its going to be a slow process looking for all my music...so i don't want to have to start from Z every time i open something i have TB of music to search through !!!

help please

thank you in advance
