    Specs:
    MacBook Pro 2.8 GHz i7
    24" imac6.1 replacement HARD DRIVE HELP
    hi my friends imac which the hard drive has completely gone, wont format, partition or anything i have taken it out (250gb 3.5 sata )can any one help on witch hard drive i have to replace it with (links would be great ) im not sure on the speeds of them and stuff like that. any help would be great thanks

    SATA is an industry standard. Basically, you can get any SATA that's currently available. 7200 RPM is the more common rotation speed. 5400-5900 are lower power/cooler-running possibilities.
