    Will 20" ATI 2600 fit in a 24" IMAC (2008)
I'm wondering if the 20" ATI 2600 will work in the same year 24". I realize the heat sink will need to be swapped. Which might be a good idea to improve the thermal tape & paste.

What you may not realize is...I'm pretty sure the 2600 in the 20" iMac is not removable.

Anything is removable Nick, when you use a 300W soldering gun.

This is very true. The real skill is putting things back together again...and having the item/computer fully functional!!!
