Is this a good deal? 27" iMAc 2.66 i5 for ~$1,350I'm looking to get an iMac and want to get one with a 27” screen that’s good enough to handle my computing needs. Probably the most intensive thing I’ll run in the foreseeable future is Aperture/Lightroom for RAW photo processing. I’m thinking with some additional RAM this could do the trick.
Apple MB953LL/A Apple iMac MB953LL/A Desktops PC - Intel Core i5 2.66 GHz Processor - 4 GB RAM - 1 TB Hard Drive - DVD±RW (±R DL) - ATI Radeon HD 4850 - Gigabit Ethernet - AirPort Extreme 802.11a/b/g/n - Bluetooth 2.1 EDR - Mac OS X 10.6 - 27.0-inch
A couple of questions. Do you think it’s a good deal or are there better deals to be had? Is this processor of the same i-series batch as the 2010 iMacs or an even older/slower version?
Thanks."Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others"

Well I pulled the trigger on it after all. Hopefully it'll suit my needs and I'm sure it will. If not, the company claims a 45 day no hassle return, but who knows how that would play out in reality. Luckily I can be a real PITA if someone doesn't own up to their responsibility.
Luckily I got the last in stock. I thought it was just a cheap ploy when the website said "only 1 left", but it's actually showing out of stock now that I ordered."Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others"

Ha I did notice that as well and was wondering if it was a ploy too, i'm sure you'll love the machine and it will do what you want it to!
