    Question Mac Pro Memory Quesions
I have an early 2008 Mac Pro. It uses FB-DIMM's I believe they are 800MHz and are DDR2 ECC PC6400. There are some on the internet now which look different from the rather large ones I have. Will these work with correct specs. Also can I use pairs of 4GHz instead of 2GHz or less ? Please advise.

    2011 13" MBP 2.3ghz, 8gig ram, OS 10.8.5
I would stick with whatever memory(ram) modules these two suppliers recommend:

    - Nick
    - Too many "beachballs", read this: Beachballs
    - Computer seems slower than it used to? Read this for some slow computer tips: Speedup
    - Almost full hard drive? Some solutions. Out of Space
