Got a bonus from work and decided to switch over to the Mac side.
Ordered a Mini 1.42 with combo drive, new mighty mouse, Apple pro keyboard, a set of those JBL Creature speakers, and a 20" Dell widescreen LCD. All of my ordering (except the monitor) was from Amazon.com, and so far the mouse is only thing they've delivered. neye: However I quickly had it up and running with my current PC and really like it so far even though it is just the mouse. And I feel that the Apple marketing department is awesome. A year ago I was completely against owning an MP3 player, then the iPod mini price was lowered, this led to me researching iPod's (and ultimately buying the 4gig mini), and after seeing the quality and simplicity of the iPod I soon wanted an Apple computer. All from a $200 iPod. Anyway just taking a minute to say hello, and to introduce myself. |

Welcome!... Hope your Mini gets here soon.
Ah... I see you're a Texan too. :black: "If you had a friend who was a tightrope walker, and you were walking down a sidewalk, and he fell, that would be completely unacceptable." -Mitch Hedberg

I've owned the iPod for a while now unfortunately, and since it's paid for I will keep it around. :headphone |

Do you think it will be worth the extra $400 over the price of this Viewsonic VA721 I'm borrowing from work at the moment? I can buy this one for $150, and I purchased the Dell for $549.99 plus shipping. |
