Let me google that for you

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Got the Tiger install disc? Crack the eMac and pop the hdd in, boot from the Tiger disc by holding down 'C';, go to Utilities, Disk Utility and format Mac OS Extended (Journalled), back to Installer and run Tiger.

If you do not have the Tiger disc then you have big problems.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
