Hi, Im a total newbie when it comes to MACs and thinking about purchasing a used IMAC I came across for $600 is this a good deal? here are the specs:

iMac G4
Memory (RAM):
256 MB
Processor Type:
Single
Hard Drive Capacity:
60 GB
Processor Speed:
800 MHz
Screen Size:
15 inches
Operating System:
Mac OS X

It also comes with keyboard mouse and speakers
and will be used to do design work.

Thats a decent deal, if at all possible I would suggest buying an Apple Refurb iMac G5 for $900, it would have a bigger screen, faster processors, better video card, bigger HD. At least go with a 17in G4 iMac, they commonly sell on ebay for around $700.

I wouldn't want to do design work on a 15in screen running 1024x768.
QUOTE Thanks
