Hi, Im a total newbie when it comes to MACs and thinking about purchasing a used IMAC I came across for $600 is this a good deal? here are the specs:
iMac G4 Memory (RAM): 256 MB Processor Type: Single Hard Drive Capacity: 60 GB Processor Speed: 800 MHz Screen Size: 15 inches Operating System: Mac OS X It also comes with keyboard mouse and speakers and will be used to do design work. thanks in advance! |

Thats a decent deal, if at all possible I would suggest buying an Apple Refurb iMac G5 for $900, it would have a bigger screen, faster processors, better video card, bigger HD. At least go with a 17in G4 iMac, they commonly sell on ebay for around $700.
I wouldn't want to do design work on a 15in screen running 1024x768. |
