I just bought a hard drive adapter so I could transfer data from my G3 to my G5.
When I plug the drive in no files are found. I went to disc utility and it shows the drive but no data. I have saved files from other hard drives w/o any problem.
Did this drive get wiped?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Unless the files on the G3 drive are hidden, they've probably been deleted or the drive may have been formatted. You can check to see if the files are hidden by using the terminal procedure given in this thread: LINK
