I'm planning to buy an iMac 27" but hesitate because of all those screen stain problems I heard about. Does the iMac 27" display still present those problems with yellow or grey stains?
QUOTE Thanks

With any machine from any manufacturer you can always get defects in some models. That being said, my late 2010 iMac (specs in my signature) is used very heavily, every day, 7 days a week, and it has yet to develop any problem, screen stains or otherwise. It's my understanding they got that problem ironed out long ago

Those problems have long since been resolved by Apple. The 27" iMac display is one of the brightest and sharpest displays I have ever seen. You have nothing to worry about. And, if there should be some anomaly, Apple will exchange it for you or give you a full refund. (Within 14 days.)
