So is the bluetooth a separate card then?

Yes, the bluetooth card is a small card about the size of a credit card... It attaches directly to the logic board. You have to take apart the computer to install the bluetooth card.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, the AirPort card is easy to install. Simply open the CD door, take the 2 black screws off the black panel, slide the card in the slot above the drive, plug in the cable, and your done!

    Specs:
    Imac 27" Retina 5K, 512GB Flash Storage, 3.3Ghz, 16GB memory, OS X.11.5.
As a suggestion consider a D-Link D120 USB Dongle to run keyboard and wireless mouse from. Just plugs into a USB port.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
