Does anyone know what to expect in the next Mac Pro? And a release date?
Trying to decide if it's worth it to by the 6-core now or wait till mid 2011 when I'm thinking the 6,1 is going to be making its appearance..

I was more getting at if there was going to be an architecture change in the chip? I heard Intel had something going, because the Westmere chips just got smaller, but nothing architecturely changed which is where we'd see a jump in speed worth waiting for..

Didn't they (Intel) recently announce a new line of high performance chips? Not sure when they will be available, though.
