A warm greeting to all of you out there . Wanna find out if anyone out there has any news or info on how to go about installing a HD 5970 on a Mac Pro 2008 and earlier.

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz OS X.9.4 and OS X.10

G'day and welcome to the forums.

To date only information have found is the card is for Mid 2010 Mac Pro's, sadly.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
