Ive only had my mac for a little over three months. The need for a mic hasn't come up until now. i notice when i use my logitech 20 buck mic I can hear through it fine. but when i talk through it i get nothing. i've messed with a bunch of setting but nothing seems to help. Could it be that those headphones aren't completely compatible with os x.
QUOTE Thanks

To test the headphones I would suggest using them on another Mac to see if they are compatible. Or you could bring them to the Apple store and use the computers there, also take your Mac with you, because that could also be the problem. Good luck!
