Really impressed with my new iMacIt's been about a day since I received my new 21 inch iMac with all of the specs maxed out and I must say that I am quite impressed. I was previously using a late 2008 unibody MBP. I tend to keep my CPU maxed out for hours (sometimes days) at a time. My MBP would turn into a fireball and the fans would emit a very loud noise. Now with my new iMac, the system runs cool, and I can't even hear the fans running, that's with the iMac running at full capacity since I got it. Of course, there is also the gorgeous 1080p 21 inch screen (i think it's 1080p, it's 1920 x 1080) and it's 2-3x faster in doing most of my tasks.

The truth is, I would have preferred the 27" with a quad-core i7 processor, but as it is the 21" iMac JUST fits into my desk.

yeah, as awesome as 27" is, for some spaces it's just too darn big.

I'm also enjoying the iMac's built in speakers. They are far better then I expected. They have a much richer sound to them than my MBP's speakers ever did. A deeper bass as well.
