    I want an IMac no Blu-ray
    Hi all, I want to by an IMac but I have a lot of Blu-rays that I want to play on it?
    Is there any way to play them on it?

    C2D 2.26 | 500GB Seagate Momentus | 2GB 1066 (soon to be 8)
    Get an external blu-ray player and blu-ray software for the iMac.

    I didn't think an iMac could paly them?

    Looks like you'll have to go into Bootcamp since there's no blu ray software for Mac yet.

    If you already have a Blu-ray video player, and you get the 27" iMac with video-in, then you can get by with a HDMI-DisplayPort adapter.

    It's about $50 from online retailers.

    Hi the cable looks a good idea,
    Could I play the Bul-ray on to the IMac and convert to an mkv file so I can also play on my WD tv live hub on to my 50" pioneer.
