imac mouse problem

Hello everyone

My mouse pointer keeps jumping back to one position - the upper left hand side of the screen

I've tried a wireless mighty mouse and a normal pc mouse, but get the same result, i've used the usb keyboard connections and resetting the pram any idea's

Had the imac from new for two yaers without any problems - no new hard ware or software installed recently
