Hello!

I'm looking at picking up an intel mac to get me off my iBook g3

I'm looking at the 17'' 2.16ghz C2D white imac, its gunna cost me around 400 pound which is around 650USD.

Think its worth it?

Cheers!

$650 USD is a bit expensive based on prices for that used computer here in the US (I know that the prices for used computers in the UK are higher).

I would recommend checking "e-Bay UK" to see what this model computer is selling for...and you could go to this website:

Mac2Sell

...to also get an idea of what this used computer model is worth in the UK. Some folks disagree on the values this website outputs...but it at least gives you a general idea.

Hope this helps...good luck,

I think that's a good price for the uk used Market. I just sold a core duo 1.83ghz for £350. And that was to a friends daughter at a reduced price, I could have held out and sold else where in the region of £400.
