Hi,
I have mac notebook ver 10.5.4.... I want to initiate the command line terminal..According to directions; Finder; Applications; Utilities; Terminal.
All is well up to Applications. There is not a 'Terminal' entry. There is a Xterm, which i followed thru, and got a command line if I type:'tcsh'. Anyway where is 'Terminal'? Also how do I increase the font size on this 'Xterm'(Terminal look alike)? I have some more questions ,but I'll wait for a response to this one.........Thanks

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Well try 'Go' > Utilities > Terminal.

And why OS X.5.4 and not running OS X.5.8 Combo Updater?

Those directions are indeed correct. It sounds like you just missed the Utilities folder.
