If you had $2,550 USD to spend on a mac for video editing with Final Cut Studio,

What would you get?

Lowest Model PowerMac, Dell 2005FPW, and then an extra 1gb ram.

So Approximately: $2000 + $460 + $90 = $2550

Save the money on the ram, and use the money you saved to buy more ram by buying the ram from a third party, not apple.

Thats what I meant, you can't get an additional 1gb of ram in a Powermac for $90 from Apple.
