Hey, I just joined the forums because I am having some problems with my computer and am hoping you guys can help me out.

1. My computer's wireless either takes 4 or more times of me clicking on the wireless network to actually connect, or a restart of the computer which usually makes the iMac connect to the network immediately, sometimes I need to restart two times. I also had an issue a couple times where the wireless would be connected, but would for some reason just stop the connection and lose it and I would have to go through the process in the first sentence over again.

2. My computer becomes really slow sometimes due to the Flash-Player in Safari, the plug in or something. I have taken a screenshot of where my CPU% is over 100%, depending on the application, it goes from 125% to 179%.

Should I just take my iMac to an Apple store and have them do a complete diagnostic?

Sounds like AirPort is having connectivity issues- though whether or not that is hardware related, it needs to be further investigated.

Flash can be poorly written. And, yes, that is normal for the CPU to spike.

On a side note, that first screenshot shows Safari in Top Sites mode. Top Sites uses a lot of system resources. However, it is hard to tell if you have a site open that has Flash in it.

What should I do to further investigate Airport?

Also, in the first screenshot I have, the open webpage is Yahoo Answers.

This is another question. I just opening garageband that I have used before, and I made a song, but I can't find all the loops I used before, again.

I clicked on beats, and it turned grey, so I closed it, opened it again, and same thing happened, no loops. What do I do for that? I already looked for updates and I don't feel like installing the disc over again.

For AirPort, see if you can turn it off. Also, try and see if you can connect to another network (one that probably is not secure). Then, check System Profiler: go to: Apple menu (top left) and select "About This Mac". Then click on "More info..."

Go down to Network on the left side, and then AirPort, and see if you have the latest AirPort utility. If not, do a Software Update.

As for not finding the GarageBand loops, have you intentionally or possibly unintentionally messed with the Home folder (it would be listed as your user name, above Applications) ? Messing with this can cause all settings to revert back to the factory original, and that does include all programs and files.

It sounds as if the GarageBand loop files may have been corrupted. You'll have to reinstall iLife.

IF all else fails, it would be best to back up your work (TimeMachine) and reinstall Mac OS X. If the problems continue again, you'll need to take it an Apple Retail Store.
