I am looking to upgrade the memory of my iMac but I am having difficulty finding the correct module. Can you please help?
Machine Spec- iMac G5 Machine Model: PowerMac 12,1 CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (3.0) CPU's: 1 CPU Speed: 1.9Ghz Memory: 512 MB (Built In) Bus Speed: 633 Mhz EMC No: 2081 The empty slot is DIMM1/J6700 I have found this module on eBuyer - Generic 2GB DDR2 667MHz Memory Module - Ebuyer If I buy this will it work? Hope you can help, my low speed and inability to find the right module is driving me crazy! Thank you. |

I have bought a wireless router from eBuyer before and I must admit it never worked straight from the box. On your recommendation I will pay the extra and go with Crucial, they guarantee compatability too and have an informative website that answered a few of my questions. Thanks alot mate, your help is very much appreciated and has saved me countless hours of blind searching for something I know nothing about. Cheers, Chris |
